At Vital Energy we combine alternative therapy along with traditional therapy to address the rehabilitation needs of the person as a whole – body, mind and spirit.
We provide occupational therapy, physical therapy, aquatic therapy for adult and pediatric patients along with fitness & wellness services.
Our Staff treats different type of physical ailments related to orthopedic issues , neurological, issues, work related injury,accident related injury ,cancer,cardiovascular rehab and chronic or acute pain issues, anxiety issue just to name few . We use modalities, i.e., low-level laser therapy, different type of electrical current treatment, Computerized traction treatment,aqua therapy, Manual Therapy like myofascial release ,treatment, craniosacral treatment, splinting, hand therapy by our licensed occupational/physical/speech therapists. These therapies along with alternative therapies such as Reiki and other energy healing techniques, acupressure, hands on manipulation and mobilization, massage and aqua detox. Just to name few
We also treat women’s issues such as PMS, stress, and anxiety.

Hima Dalal - Owner, Vital Energy Wellness & Rehab
Hima Dalal is the lead occupational therapist of Vital Energy Wellness, and Rehab Center. She is a board certified licensed Occupational Therapist with 30 years of experience. She is a Reiki Master Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Myofascial Release & CranioSacral Therapist & Sanjeevani healing practitioner. |

Anthony Kochert, Physical Theapitst
As a physical therapist the past nine years I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including but not limited to, acute care, sub-acute rehabilitation, home health care, and outpatient therapy.Having patients with a wide range of diagnoses has provided exposure to a variety of therapy requirements including neurological, orthopedic, and amputee. Before joining the staff at Vital Energy, my position in an outpatient orthopedic clinic was extremely challenging and rewarding. It is with great anticipation for new learning opportunities that I begin my tenure at Vital Energy Wellness and Rehab Center. |

Renee Kleppe-Bach, OTR/L
Renee has 19 years experience as an occupational therapist. She has worked in various areas of the field including industrial rehab (especially workstation modification), chronic pain programs, home health, school system, hospital outpatient and orthopedic outpatient. She has completed the Advanced Practice in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation graduate program from Drexel University . She plans to become a certified hand therapist in 2010.Renee moved to the Columbia area from Cleveland , Ohio in 2004. |

Jan Hawley - PRN
Jan Hawley is a PRN for Vital Energy. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. She has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 28 years, bringing experience in acute care, home care, and outpatient orthopedics. She is certified in personal training, pilates and yoga. |

Sneh Patel - Vital Energy Fitness
Sneh Patel is the owner of Vital Energy Fitness. She has a Bachelors Degree from the University of South Carolina with her major in Exercise Science and minor in Public Health. Sneh specializes in Bariatric Fitness (for the obese & overweight), helping clients with medical conditions associated with obesity such as diabetes, cholesterol and hypertension. She also helps clients who need only toning and to lose a few pounds. She also works with clients that have had an injury resulting in pain. |

Suzy Shay, Office Manager
Suzy is the office manager who is the first point of contact with our facility. She handles greeting patients and telephone calls. She schedules appointments, arranges workshops, yoga classes and support groups. She obtains insurance and billing information and keeps all of the medical records on each patient efficiently. She is the initial point of contact for all vendors as well as being strongly involved in marketing our facility to our referral sources. She works closely with billing personnel to ensure proper billing and documentation is properly submitted to the insurance carriers. She oversees building maintenance and operation. She orders supplies for the entire facility, provides supervision and sees that the operation of our facility goes smoothly. |

Office Secretary The office secretary and assistant to the office manager assists in scheduling, answering the phone, filing and performing clerical duties for the facility and also handles front desk duties in greeting patients and visitors to the facility.

Environmental Specialist Environmental specialist keeps the premises of facility clean and in an orderly condition in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
